THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Yeahp ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information in connection with yeahp.live and the services available through it (the "Services"). Read it together with our Terms of Service. The information involved depends on the pages you visit, the features you use and what you choose to share.

Delivering the Services, protecting users, measuring website activity and answering enquiries can involve the information described below. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].

Terms of Service · [email protected]

2. Information you provide

We receive information that you choose to send to us, including your email address, the contents of support enquiries, feedback and details supplied in a report or privacy request. Please provide only what is needed to explain the issue and avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Information you share with another participant may include your appearance, voice, surroundings and anything you say, show or send through an available communication feature. You decide what to disclose. You do not have to exchange names, contact details or social accounts to take part in a conversation.

3. Technical, usage and location information

When you visit the website or open the chat service, your browser sends technical requests to the systems that deliver it. Yeahp and its hosting, infrastructure and analytics providers may process IP addresses, requested and referring pages, browser type, operating system, device information, access times and interaction or error information. An IP address may also indicate an approximate location.

This information helps deliver pages and connections, diagnose failures, understand how website controls are used and protect the Services from misuse. We do not require you to provide a home address or precise location to start a random match. Network requests can include information that identifies a browser or device.

4. Camera, microphone and shared content

Video chat requires your browser's permission to use your camera and microphone. Permission allows the chat service to transmit your picture and sound to the participant you connect with; simply opening a page does not grant that permission. You can decline access or change it later through your browser or device settings.

Yeahp does not record video calls. This does not prevent another participant from recording their screen or sound, saving material you send, or allowing someone nearby to see or hear the conversation. Do not assume that shared content will remain confidential or that every copy can later be removed. Check your surroundings and keep private documents, financial details and other people's information out of view.

5. Safety reports and service communications

If you contact us about abuse, a technical problem or another concern, we may process the report, any supporting material you submit and relevant technical or interaction information to investigate and respond. Report and Block controls, where available, help you flag conduct or avoid a participant. You can also end a call at any time.

Information associated with a report may be reviewed to enforce our rules, detect fraud or harmful activity, protect users and meet legal obligations. Safety measures cannot guarantee that every interaction will be appropriate, and an 18+ requirement does not establish that every participant's identity has been verified.

6. How we use information

We use information to operate and maintain the website and chat connections; respond to support requests; investigate errors; understand page visits, navigation and button interactions; improve usability and reliability; detect spam, fraud and misuse; and enforce our Terms of Service.

We may also use information to communicate service or policy changes, handle privacy requests, comply with lawful requirements, keep necessary business records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information used for a new purpose must be handled in accordance with applicable law, including obtaining consent when required.

7. Legal bases for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the information and purpose involved. Processing may be necessary to provide the Services you request under our Terms of Service, meet a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as network security, abuse prevention, customer support and service improvement, subject to your rights and interests.

We rely on consent where required for a particular activity. You may withdraw consent to processing that relies on it; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Accepting these documents or continuing to browse does not replace any separate consent required by law.

8. When information is shared

Other participants receive the picture, sound and information you choose to communicate during a chat. Providers that support hosting, network delivery, chat infrastructure, analytics, security and customer support may process information needed for their work. Technical requests used to open and operate the chat service are forwarded to the provider delivering that service.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or competent authorities when necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate misuse or protect rights and safety. If the business or its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer, relevant information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

9. Direct marketing and notifications

If we offer direct marketing communications, we will seek your consent where required before sending them. You can withdraw permission or unsubscribe using the instructions in a message, any available notification settings, or by emailing [email protected].

Administrative messages, responses to enquiries and notices about security or changes to the Services are separate from optional marketing. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from responding to you or sending a notice required to operate the Services or comply with law.

10. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your use of Yeahp by contacting [email protected]. We may need limited additional information to identify the relevant records and verify that the request comes from the person concerned. We may be unable to link an anonymous visit to a particular person.

Deletion requests are subject to applicable law and exceptions, including information needed for security, legal obligations or legal claims. Deleting information under our control does not remove copies independently saved by another participant or third party. Clearing browser data and changing camera or microphone permissions are separate controls available on your device.

Request access, correction or deletion

11. External websites and services

Links, content or conversations may lead you to websites and services operated by others. Their information practices are governed by their own privacy notices. Yeahp does not control what an independent website or another participant does with information you provide to them.

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools, including Google Analytics, and uses Microsoft Clarity to understand website interactions. These providers may process technical, device and interaction information under their applicable terms and privacy notices. Review those notices for more information about their practices and available controls.

12. Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information handled in connection with the Services. No website, communication system or method of storage can guarantee complete security. Be careful about the information you share and contact us if you believe a privacy or security issue has occurred.

Operating the Services can involve providers and systems in countries other than your country of residence, where data protection rules may differ. Cross-border processing remains subject to applicable law, including any required transfer safeguards. You can contact [email protected] to ask about the handling of your information and applicable protections.

13. How long information is kept

Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, taking into account the type of information, the service or enquiry involved, security needs, applicable recordkeeping obligations and legal claims. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable requirements. Different providers may retain information under their own applicable policies.

Some information is kept in your browser. A site identifier can remain between visits until you clear site data. Pending website click events stop being retried after 24 hours and are removed from the pending list when delivery is acknowledged. The retry limit does not mean that every stored copy or a provider's analytics records is automatically deleted after 24 hours.

14. Your data protection rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of your information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing depends on it. These rights have conditions and exceptions.

You may also have rights to opt out of particular uses of personal information or appeal a decision about a privacy request, where provided by applicable law. You can raise a concern with us and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with the data protection or privacy authority responsible for your location. Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under applicable law.

15. How to exercise your rights

Send privacy requests to [email protected] and describe the information or activity concerned and the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity, locate records and protect other people's information. Do not send identity documents or sensitive material unless a secure and necessary verification process has been arranged.

We will handle requests within the period required by applicable law and explain any applicable limitations or need for additional time. Browser settings, device permissions and the controls offered by independent providers give you additional ways to manage information on your device or held by those providers.

[email protected]

16. Cookies, browser storage and analytics

Cookies and similar technologies can remember settings, support website delivery, measure visits and help diagnose problems. Our chat entry saves an identifier in browser storage to recognise the Yeahp entry. The website also stores pending Start Match click events so measurement can be retried if navigation happens before delivery is confirmed. These events include a generated event identifier, click time, button placement and destination. Local storage is normally used, with session storage as a fallback.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to collect technical and usage information. Clarity can produce session replays of website interactions, including clicks and scrolling, to help us understand the website experience. This website measurement is separate from our statement that Yeahp does not record video calls.

You can block or remove cookies and stored site data through your browser and use privacy controls offered by the providers. Blocking storage may affect settings, measurement or some functionality. Camera and microphone access is controlled separately through browser permissions. Where consent is required for a technology, the applicable consent requirements apply.

17. Adults only

Yeahp is intended only for adults aged 18 and over (18+). Anyone under 18 must not use the Services or submit personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe someone under 18 has used the Services or provided personal information, contact [email protected] with the details needed to investigate. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal information inappropriately, we will take steps to delete it as required by law and address the relevant access issue.

18. Policy updates and contact information

We may revise this policy as the Services, information practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by law and obtain new consent when required. Please review the policy periodically.

This Privacy Policy was last updated on October 22, 2026. For privacy questions, customer support, deletion requests or other enquiries about Yeahp, email [email protected].
